1991 Voices That Care – Voices That Care
Voices That Care is a 1991 charity single recorded by a supergroup of popular musicians, entertainers, and athletes to boost the morale of U.S. troops involved in Operation Desert Storm and to support the International Red Cross.
The project was put together by legendary producer and songwriter David Foster, along with Linda Thompson and Peter Cetera. Released on March 13, 1991, by Giant Records, it followed the tradition of massive 1980s charity ensembles like Band Aid and USA for Africa, but focused specifically on supporting deployed military personnel rather than famine relief.
