1972 Gerry Mulligan – The Age Of Steam
The Age Of Steam is considered a significant “comeback” album for legendary baritone saxophonist Gerry Mulligan. It marked his return to leading a large ensemble after a period of lower visibility in the late 1960s and showcased his versatility as he doubled on soprano saxophone and piano. It was released in 1972 on A&M Records.
