LA Jazz Quintet is a “supergroup” led by legendary guitarist Phil Upchurch and featuring heavyweights of the fusion and session world. They released their sole Phil Upchurch Presents LA Jazz Quintet in 1986. It was recorded at Sage and Sound Studios in Hollywood and released via the Japanese label Paddle Wheel.
