The Jazz King, is a landmark collaboration led by legendary guitarist Larry Carlton to honor the musical legacy of the late King of Thailand, Bhumibol Adulyadej. The album was commissioned by the Royal Project Foundation and the Rotary Club of Bangkok to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the King’s accession to the throne and his 80th birthday. It was released in 2006.
